Overview

At Manifestation OS, your privacy matters deeply. You're trusting us with personal journal entries, reflections, and goals — content that is intimate by nature. We handle your data with care, store only what we need to operate the Service, and will never sell it.

This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a user.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address and a hashed version of your password. We do not store passwords in plain text.

Content You Create

We store the content you create within the Service: manifestation entries, shadow work journal entries, evidence logs, and any other text you write. This data is stored in your private account and is not accessible to other users.

Payment Information

Payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number, CVV, or other sensitive payment details. We receive a record of whether your payment was successful and a Stripe customer ID for reference.

Usage Data

We may collect basic usage data such as pages visited, features used, and timestamps of activity. This helps us improve the Service. We do not track your behavior across other websites.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and operate the Service
• Authenticate your identity and protect your account
• Process your payment and maintain your access status
• Send transactional emails (password resets, account confirmations)
• Respond to your support requests
• Improve and maintain the Service

We do not use your journal content to train AI models, serve you advertisements, or share it with third parties for any marketing purpose.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored using Supabase, a secure database platform. Data is encrypted in transit using TLS and at rest. We follow industry-standard security practices and regularly review our systems.

While we take reasonable precautions, no system is completely secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate Manifestation OS:

• Supabase — database and authentication hosting
• Stripe — payment processing
• Vercel — application hosting and delivery

Each of these providers has their own privacy policies and data handling practices. We share only the minimum data necessary with each provider to operate the Service.

5. Cookies

We use session cookies to keep you logged in. These are essential for the Service to function and are not used for advertising or tracking across other websites. We do not use third-party tracking cookies.

6. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights regarding your personal data. These include the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Correction — request we correct inaccurate data
• Deletion — request we delete your account and all associated data (“right to be forgotten”)
• Portability — request your data in a portable format
• Objection — object to certain types of processing

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Settings page. For other requests, contact us at hello@manifestationos.com.

California residents: We do not sell personal information as defined under the CCPA. We do not share your data with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all your personal data and content is permanently removed from our systems within 30 days. We may retain anonymized, aggregated data that cannot be linked back to you.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we do, we will update the “last updated” date at the top of this page and notify you by email for material changes. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
